Allies that were fighting in the Pacific were the United States, China, United Kingdom,Australia, Canada,
Netherlands, New Zealand and the Soviet Union.The Axis powers that were fighting were the Empire Of Japan, and Thailand.The main leaders in the war were General MacArthur for the United States and Allies. While Hideki Tojo and Hirohito for the Axis powers. The Pacific theater was different than the European theater. The Pacific theater was a lot more naval battles and the two sides fighting for little islands in the Pacific ocean. The War in the Pacific began on December 7 1939. When Japan invaded Thailand and British Malaya and the big one the attack on Pearl Harbor in the United States in Hawaii. Japan was already in China but the war official started on December 7 1939. December 8th is when Britain and the United States declared war on Japan. After this WWII had two theaters. The European and Pacific. The United States had to go into war mode and fight in both of these theaters. This war had propaganda, technology, many battles, and many people had to go into war mode.
